The Aetna Kit provider portal is set to launch on September 15th, 2025, providing medical professionals with a streamlined process for managing attributed members due for colorectal cancer screening. During the initial four-week action period, which concludes on October 13th, providers can use the portal to order FIT kits or opt out members through the Aetna In-Home FIT Kit Program. If no action is taken by medical professionals during this period, members will automatically receive a FIT kit test during the direct-to-member phase, starting on October 20th.
Providers can track the status of the orders on a weekly basis once they reach our vendor's lab for processing. Our vendor supplies up to two replacement kits if the initial kit is returned but proves non-testable. Please be aware the 2025 measurement year for this program will conclude on December 31st, 2025.
